mechanism experiences lifting operations on an organic body connected with ropes, trying to
induce its flight. The
work is part of a research aimed at the investigation of physical
space, that is conceptualized through elementary performative actions.
In this series of works I try to bring out the intangible condition of
matter: it's continually subjected to opposing internal efforts, in a
perennial search of equilibrium. The flow of tensions is present in all
objects immersed in fields of forces (such as gravity). This flow
confers an intrinsic vitality to each apparently inanimate object: this
condition is made visible through the overtuning between the agent
subject (a mechanism, without life) and the object that undergoes the
action (a portion of human body, usually an agent subject).
